The Alexander Centre is open

August 6, 2020

The Alexander Centre is open.

After being closed in April and May, the Alexander Centre reopened to its business tenants on the 1st floor at the end of May after having completed a full risk assessment and introduced a new cleaning regime, sanitisation stations and social distancing measures and signage.

Following Government advice and stipulations we were able to open in early July for other uses and completed the Covid-secure questionnaire which enabled us to use the Vist England's 'Good to Go' certification. We can now offer rooms to hire (with reduced capacity) for permitted activities. Obviously we are still subject to Governmental edicts, so can only offer space for activities which comply with these.

Unfortunately large scale events are not yet permitted indoors so we are unable to accommodate these until the restrictions are lifted. However, we do have several large meeting rooms and a huge hall and a lovely private garden, so if there are activities for which you need a larger space or an outdoor space, do get in touch.

What they’re saying

Having an office in the centre of Faversham has been a real asset to our business, we are able to easily book rooms and hold conferences on site. It also has a community feel working alongside other local organisations. The staff are always friendly and helpful, which provides a welcoming atmosphere for clients visiting the building.
