The Alexander Collection goes online!

August 6, 2020

The Alexander Collection is an annual exhibition of modern British art decorating the walls of this stunning 19th Century house, home to a Community Interest Company responsible for the building and all that happens within it. The art work has been produced by professional artists, many of whom live locally. The Collection is now in its fifth year.

The 2020 Collection was launched in January but closed due to Coronavirus in March. In co-operation with our alumni artists from the previous 5 years, and our invited guest artist Rose Wylie, we are delighted to present The Virtual Collection on this web site:

These works of art have been produced by our alumni during the lockdown period and generously made available on-line for The Alexander Collection.

What they’re saying

We decided to base our office at the Alexander Centre 5 years ago because we also needed access to a variety of services and spaces. The beautiful historic building provides us not only with an office, but also with an excellent setting for all sizes meetings and events, all under the same roof in the centre of Faversham. Firstly, the staircase makes a good impression; the reception staff welcomes guests and deals with deliveries; the team is helpful and supportive; the Gatefield Hall has a foyer, a cloakroom, a kitchen and a bar; smaller rooms are perfect for workshops. We have used all of these over the years and we will continue to do so.
