Charters Room

A large ground floor carpeted reception room with heritage features including some beautiful cornicing and a very handsome fireplace.

This room, another of Sir Sidney and Lady Alexander’s
magnificent reception rooms, was originally the dining room of the house. Now re-decorated in soft heritage paint shades by leading interior designer, Sue Timney, it was renamed the Charters Room by public consultation in 2015 after the successful celebrations of Faversham's Magna Carta and Charters.  This is both a beautiful room and a neutral backdrop for a wide range of business, entertaining and leisure activities.
